Make a gym centered around a certain type!
No legendaries No more than 1 starter(None if you want to make it more challenging) 6 pokemon(or less)
How it works:
Person A: Picks type A Person B: Explains how they would make a gym of type A & selects a different type B Person C: Makes a gym of type B, selects type C
So on and so forth.
Type list for anyone that needs it: Normal Fire Fighting Water Flying Grass Poison Electric Ground Psychic Rock Ice Bug Dragon Ghost Dark Steel Fairy
The first type is - Water

For a water type gym I'd have a Lapras, a Mudkip, a Vaporeon, a Wailord, a Corphish, and Pyukumuku!
New type is: Bug

Can I just say how much I hate bug types first? Like...yeah I'm totally with Misty on this one.
My bug gym would be based in a town that has a spiral layout. The center of town would be a large park of some kind with four main 'spokes' shooting off towards the four corners. The north corner takes you to the gym(at the edge of town), the south corner takes you to a cave where you have to know strength and rock smash(flash is also recommended) to get through, east takes you to a forest and the pokemart, the mart is next to the park. The west has the pokecenter and a large body of water(either a large lake or the ocean) with the pokecenter again, next to the park. If you stop to talk to anyone around the town they tell you that this town used to have a large bug problem, however when the new gym leader took over the bug problem decreased in general though spiders have become an issue with webs everywhere. They also brag that their town discovered how to make antidotes
Once in the gym it is laid out as a spiral with the gym leader at the center. The trainers you come across all recommend bringing plenty of antidotes. Most use Spinarak with a few joltik and dewpiders, towards the center a couple trainser have an Ariados or Araquanid on their team. Once getting to the gym leader she greets you and asks if you're afraid of spiders. If you say yes she laughs and suggests you find another gym. Say no and she smiles and welcomes you while asking for a battle. The first pokemon sent out is Ariados followed by Araquanid. The third pokemon is Galvantula. After defeating those three the gym leader asks if you knew that hermit crabs were related to spiders before sending out Crustle. Winning the battle you receive a few antidotes, a Spider Badge, and the HMs rock smash and strength.
